Overview

The goal of this project was to reverse-engineer and model the H Twin Steam Engine, a twin-cylinder, oscillating steam engine originally designed by Elmer Verburg, using SolidWorks.

Through this project, I produced a fully assembled, animated model that simulates the functional motion of the real engine. The goal was not only to learn CAD, but also to internalize mechanical relationships between static and dynamic components in a complete powertrain.
